What’s the most effective method for cleaning out a used candle jar for reuse?
Freezer Method
Once your candle jar has completely cooled, place it in the freezer for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
Remove the jar and use a butter knife to gently loosen and pop out the leftover wax.
Melt & Pour Method
During your candle’s final burn, while the wax is still melted, carefully pour it onto a paper towel or other disposable surface (avoid plastic).
While the jar is still warm, wipe it clean with a paper towel.
Boiling Water Method
Pour boiling water into the jar, making sure it covers any leftover wax.
Let it sit for 4–5 hours. The wax will float to the top and harden, making it easy to lift out.
